Representative Office
If you decide to register a representative office in Russia, obtaining a work permit is not mandatory. A personal accreditation card is issued through the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI of Russia). We then submit the documents required to obtain an invitation to enter the Russian Federation. After your arrival in Russia, we arrange your visa.

Branch
If you are planning to register a branch in Russia, you will first need to obtain a work permit. At the same time, a personal accreditation card must be obtained through the CCI of Russia. Only after that can the documents for an invitation to enter the Russian Federation be submitted. After your arrival in Russia, we arrange your visa.
Cost of Obtaining a Work Permit for a Highly Qualified Specialist (HQS)
- Notification to the Migration Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow regarding the employment of a foreign national — RUB 15,000
- Obtaining a work permit for a foreign employee — RUB 65,000
- Courier services due to the remote location of the Migration Directorate, including 4 trips to the Sakharovo Migration Center — RUB 5,000
- State fee, payable from the branch’s bank account — RUB 4,200
- Arrangement of a medical insurance policy for three years — RUB 15,000
- Quarterly notification to the Migration Directorate regarding the salary paid to the foreign HQS employee — RUB 10,600 per quarter

Please note that, in accordance with Article 5 of Federal Law No. 115-FZ dated July 25, 2002, «On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation», foreign employees of branches and representative offices of foreign companies are required, within thirty calendar days from the date of entry into the Russian Federation, to undergo:
- A medical examination at authorized medical institutions in accordance with the list approved by Resolution No. 1517-PP of the Moscow Government dated September 28, 2021
- State fingerprint registration and photographing at the relevant territorial office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia or an authorized organization.
Failure by a foreign employee to comply with these requirements may result in the permitted period of temporary stay in Russia being reduced.
